Paradise Studios takes its name from the historic Arcadia Station at Paradise, a head-of-lake homestead 16 km north of Glenorchy, framed by Mt Earnslaw, Mt Alfred, Diamond Lake and the Dart River.

Paradise Studios is located at 2587–2615 Gibbston Valley Highway in the heart of the Gibbston wine region, approximately 28 km (around a 25–30 minute drive) from Queenstown Airport and well within the 40 km production radius.

Victoria Flats was designed from the ground up as a film base, a 45 hectare site (111.20 acres) in Gibbston Character Zoning. It has the scope to also host events, concerts, civil defence operations, staff training and team building.
